mdh - I have always liked the sound of Spanky and Our Gang! I tend, however, to get them a bit mixed up from time to time with The Seekers when I hear each artist's music for some odd reason. I suppose that I hear what I think is a similar sound and that's perhaps why. Nice choice! I don't have any music by Spanky and Our Gang, however. I like their name and I enjoyed watching the show by the same name. Man, those kids sure were talented and especially for their ages. I believe Spanky McFarlane may have been a member of a latter day version of The Mamas and The Papas singing the part of Mama Cass and Mackenzie Phillips singing in the place of Michelle Phillips. I remember Michelle Phillips criticizing Mackenzie for being a part of the group saying something like she shouldn't ride the coattails of someone else's success. I thought that was catty of the elder Phillips. Speaking of which, I saw a somewhat recent video of her. I was shocked and saddened to see her beauty was no longer there. It's amazing yet very sad how we all age and so often end up looking nothing like we did in our younger days. Literally, thank God we're restored to our prime in the next life as has been reported by those who have seen a glimpse of heaven due to a near death experience. I've decided for myself to omit whether I'd purchase each featured performer's music as they all are worthy to have their music purchased without a doubt. My next featured artist is someone who was the opening musical act for another performer I saw in concert who I may feature in the near future. She's originally from San Antonio and is the youngest of 13 children! TISH HINOJOSA "West Side Of Town"
