The always smooth and mellow vocals of Andy Williams! Believe it or not, mdh, I have two albums of Andy Williams but that wasn't until about two months ago. A local thrift store threw away boxes of albums probably in the amount of 100 to 150. They were in a dumpster that wasn't very tall so I took them home. Most all the albums were ones that our parents most likely would have enjoyed listening to. I gave all but about 20 of them to a friend whose son collects and sells them at a local antique and collector's mall. A few of the other ones I kept were ones by Eddie Arnold, Brenda Lee, Lawrence Welk's "A Christmas Song", Mac Davis, Mel Tillis, Johnny Rodriguez, Ray Charles, Tom Jones, Roger Miller and several others. When I think of Andy Williams, I also think of the Osmonds who were often guests on his television show back in the 60s and I believe is how they first became known. As with most all high school graduating classes, the class picks a class song upon graduating. In my class' case, it came down to two songs. One was by a fellow graduating classmate. The song he had written was, "The Wind Song", which he had performed during the sohool's annual talent show called, "The Golden Revue" as our school colors are black and gold. The other song in the final two was Jim Croce's "Time In A Bottle". To this day if I were to ask a former classmate what our class song was, the answer is often the latter instead of the correct one. Funny how that is. Perhaps, my final Christmas-related selection: JIM CROCE "It Doesn't Have To Be That Way" and A Jim Croce song covered by his son A.J.
