mdh - I did a little research on Reina Del Cid as follows: "Her stage name originates from references to Spanish literature: her guitar is nicknamed "El Cid", named after the Castilian nobleman of the same name, and her name "Reina", meaning Queen in Spanish, the Queen of her guitar." She has a very sweet singing voice! It reminds me of Jewel which is a good thing. Her cover of "Sister Golden Hair" is very nice. I remember in the past having come across it on YouTube. Thanks for featuring both of her songs here. My featured artist today is the 70s band, Silver. Unfortunately, they were a one hit wonder with only one released album. I purchased it back in the day. Too bad they weren't successful enough to continue their career as Silver. Their sound reminds me a lot of the music of Poco. As you surely know, their one and only hit was "Wham Bam Shang-A-Lang". Their second release was "Musician (It's Not An Easy Life)". Although I think it's a nice song, it didn't go anywhere. Instead, I think they should have released my featured song below. As most everyone here knows, Silver member John Batdorf co-wrote America's "You Could've Been The One" from "Alibi". SILVER "It's Gonna Be Alright"
