Didn't play it last night. They did do a nice job with Green House from "Hourglass" Hasn't been one of my favorites but the live rendition is growing on me. Steve did a nice job on lead guitar.
We'll be there again tonight ! Let you know how the first and second show went. :)

Well, I hope you have fun tonight! Regarding "Green House," I've always liked it.
I'll be attending a Martina McBride concert at the local county fair tonight. Plan to get there about two hours early in hopes of getting a spot at the very front edge of the stage. Have done that a few times before and don't mind standing during the entire show. Up front and only about 15 feet away seems like it's the only way to view the show for me now; it's like a personal performance!

I trust you had a great time at Martina's Concert, She has a very powerful voice. I've always been a fan :)
My wife and I attended the show friday evening at MD Live Casino. The facility was new and they sounded great. Gerry's voice was notably improved ! I was happy to hear the new guy..... Steve Fekete has stepped in nicely. Still I'm a traditionalist and would like him to pay homage to the original guitar riffs that Woodzy laid down. I know the lead guitarist like to add their own flair but I just miss the way Billy did Woodzy right.
I took my Daughter to the second show Saturday evening. She's 24 and has listened to these guys growing up with me. (Funny note) when they reach that part of the show after playing "Hollywood" Gerry say's I know what your thinking, that was dangerously close to Jammin' and she looked at me and smiled nodding with approval !
It was nice to make it up to the stage near the end of the show and it looked as if she was having a great time ! I pointed out to Travis that I'd done my part by introducing a younger generation to "America" music. He smiled and gave her a setlist which later she was able to have Ryland Autograph. We also purchased his CD and it is terrific !
I also had a chance to meet and talk with Jeff Worrell. He's a terrific guy.
The show was Awesome and I hope the guys make this venue a yearly visit as it is very convenient for me.

MDH - It's good to hear that you and your daughter had a great time at America's Saturday show. That's awesome that your daughter shares with you (and vice versa) the love of America's music. That's a very cool and special thing!
Yes, I enjoyed the Martina McBride concert. I was able to get to the front of the stage dead center as I had hoped. She was definitely easy on the eyes from just 10 feet away! She wore black sequined shorts with glittery high heels. That's a sight I'll remember for some time. I was impressed with her ability to play the harmonica as well as her having such powerful vocals.
Glad we all (you, your daughter and I) had a nice Saturday night at the respective shows we attended.
