‘All’s well that ends well’ then!
The Porsche in the photo is a 356. A hardtop version of the cabrio being driven down the desert road in the Horse video alongside a 911.Perhaps it reminded Gerry of the pair of them zooming along with sand dust billowing up their nostrils.
Sorry to be an anorak😉
Cool it Chaps....let’s get back on the road as we were...life’s too short.
Peace and Love.

Aha...The Allman Brothers! 1972. Amazing guitar skill. The year I bought my first car...an orange Beetle(you call it a Bug) Often drove to Germany and sat in it listening to American Forces network on my Blaupunkt playing America, CSN&Y, Poco, Firefall, The Byrds. We have a car programme here called Top Gear and they used to have The Allman Bos as their intro. These are the groups I would wish for on the America cruises they do. I’ve missed out some....suggestions?

Derrick - I'm not sure there's anything left of the Allman Brothers Band being that both of the Allman brothers are now deceased and Dickey Betts having had a stroke. I never really was into their music. Can't say that I ever purchased anything they released. I saw on YouTube that the sons of the founding members of the Allman Brothers are performing as the Allman Betts Band.
Yes, we call the Beetle a "Bug" here in the States. As a kid along with my older brother and sister while being driven to elementary school by our dad each school day, we'd play a game concerning the Bug. We'd look for any on the street or parked, and we'd each try to be the first to spot one. We'd say, "I see a Bug" and point to it. By the time we arrived at school, we'd see who the winner was that spotted the most Bugs. With no smart phones and such that was one of the ways we'd entertain ourselves back in the day.
