Incredible! I was blown away listening to / watching them play - especially "Children". I immediately pulled it up and played it through my surround sound McIntosh / Bowers and Wilkins system and even my wife got goosebumps. The supreme quality of Gerry's youthful lower vocal register singing "Children" is absolutely stunning to hear and smooth as silk. Dan's 12 string guitar work, high up the neck, was so clear and crisp as he flat picked through "the days are getting longer now". I've heard this song a million times before and had never heard Dan's guitar work ring so beautifully as it carrys this song. Dewey is simply remarkable as he sings his passages. Thank you. More please!

It's so funny fly - this weekend, I put the first album on and of all the songs and most of them, if not all, got airplay besides the two hits and the third one Sandman - the was technically a hit... i wish it was a single it would get airplay on the 70s/oldies station... but even riverside and three roses, etc.. but Clarice always makes me stop what I am doing but it's a truly awesome album

I wonder if the OGWT show in 1974 where they play Tin Man and Mad Dog is still available? It was my first introduction to America music and I've never looked back since.

Thank you so very much for posting this. This is exactly the America that captivated me as a kid in the early 70's . . .
And someone told me too that it's true when you call aloud - It's only destiny or is it mystery (?)

I agree with InnerCulture. This is exactly why I fell in love with their music. It's really hard to find anything better than this.
