I can think of only three America songs that mention a palm tree. They are:
DOWN TO THE WATER
Island music
Sways with a palm tree
Friends of mine lay back
And talk of times that weren't so free
HOLLYWOOD
In Hollywood
Underneath a golden palm tree
Hollywood
Come to the party the drinks are on me
For free
CHRISTMAS IN CALIFORNIA
People say it can't be true
That the spirit lives here, too
But you'll find Christmas everywhere
Under palm trees, sun and moon

And, interesting is the fact that none of the three America songs that mention a palm tree is written by Gerry but are penned by Dewey especially in light of how often GB has photographed palm trees.
