I'll start - R & R HOF...
Posted on: 10/05/2017 08:10 PM

Well the nominees came out.. for me the Cars, Dire Straits (definitely) and the Moody Blues I know eurythmics and few others... but please... Ok... some of the others... maybe I don't know but I don't get it either... I mean is it Muskrat Love and if the captain and toe nail didn't sing it and make a mockery of it... would that be behind them... I mean I know I have said this many many times of the years... especially with hideaway... don't let it get you down and jet boy blue and alibi ... survival and any Dewey song .. especially hangover and might be your love... that could have kept them more visible...regardless... the album here and now after 35-40 years.. said it all - it was great... please here is the list: I'm not saying there all-time greats... everybody has a bad season, a bad movie a bad album..... but please... America is hall of fame worthy ... if not at least .. worthy of a nomination...

> Depeche Mode
Dire Straits
Eurythmics
J. Geils Band
Judas Priest
LL Cool J
MC5
The Meters
Moody Blues
Radiohead
Rage Against the Machine
Rufus featuring Chaka Khan
Nina Simone
Sister Rosetta Tharpe
Link Wray
The Zombies

I found out about the 2018 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame nominees this morning, and as a Moody Blues fan,I hope they are one of the final choices, and am glad they were nominated, but I just want to say,"What? No America...AGAIN?'' So I'm a little upset about that!
I'm glad I discovered America! :-)

The R&R HOF has become a joke. They let marginal acts like Cheap Trick and Joan Jett get in and ignore those far more worthy, like Three Dog Night and America. Heck, they didn't even induct Chicago until last year, only a few decades late!

I don't even care about the R&R HOF anymore!

Amen... R and R HOF is a joke.... Everyone I talk to about seeing the groups from the 70s and 80s... when it comes to America... it's always I like them a lot.... never ever do I hear bad words and please I wish there could have been different single choices and really what do I know... but they had a lot of hits and they are still very entertaining to see..... didn't know 3 dog wasn't there too... Chicago just made it.... to me.. and I always ping XM radio.. some of the songs they play by good groups and individual singers.. I am like how do you play that and not the Border or Sandman... especially Sandman... there are songs from for example and I like him .. Van Morrison.. but I will wiki his singles and the song was even in the top 100 or listed... I am like please... sandman is one of those songs that could be in the top 500 EVER
