Nice one Grahame! That's my birthday present sorted :) Well spotted.

Shasta, how are you doing? I'm still thinking of you. I've opted for the radiotherapy....seems a bit archaic in this day and age..I wonder how Woodsie is faring and what Will is up to if anything.

Am off to Amazon site as Grahame suggests.
Take care all those still around and thanks for keeping this Blog open.

Hey Mr. Woods is doing fine, keeps a close watch to catch any sign of re-occurrence of his previous issue. Living life as a free wheeler with his wife & son.

Sir Will is living the good life with no obligations, just taking it easy with occasional drumming gigs with friends. He says hi to all.

Well, that's just great news jimnak. Many Thanks for the update. We still keep those chaps in our hearts.
My son was over your way 2 weeks ago. Driving from Santa Monica to West Hollywood. He was really disappointed he couldn't make 'Ventura Highway' as Route 1 was closed as you know. He sent some wonderful photos from Route 101 and Carmel Beach tho', renting a red 5 l Mustang convertible. I can see where Dewey and Gerry got their inspiration from.
Best Wishes from

Hey Derrick! I'm still kicking! I'm feeling quite well, despite the ever-worsening scans and now labs. The doctor just looks at me in disbelief. I've gone on 6 hikes, all above 7,500 feet in elevation. Also went on a 6.55 mile trek around our lake. Boy was I sore! I'm scraping paint off an old rocker, still cleaning houses for people...

I'll tell you, God is ever faithful. I've really been frustrated by the dichotomy between how good I feel and the reports. Well He dropped a mind-blower revelation on me last week and my frustrations, questions, concerns have all melted away! Things like that tend to happen when you look into His face.

I assume you're having some issues and that's why the radiation? I pray it takes care of the problem WITHOUT side effects!

shasta Hey Derrick! I'm still kicking!

S - It's great to see you back even though it's just for a brief visit. This blog hasn't been the same without you!

Your "I'm still kicking" comment has me remembering this band and this song from 1970.

Been listening to it for a week or so and really enjoy it! Always good to hear some previously unreleased stuff from the original trio! Almost as good as a reunion.

Some of the songs are from the Highway box set, which is fine since Highway is out of print, but most of them are "new" releases. Highly recommended for any America fan!
