It has been 10 years already!

My how time flies. It has been a decade since America released their last "comeback" album "Here & Now"!

The album was a success, reaching 52 on the Billboard album chart and leading to America appearing on The Tonight Show to promote it in 2007. It was America's best chart performance since 1982's "View From The Ground".

It was their last album to appear on the Billboard chart (so far).

America also appeared on the Today Show and The Late Show With David Letterman during that time. They performed Ride On on The Late Show With David Letterman, with the help of Ryan Adams and Ben Kweller,on January 15,2007.I found and downloaded a video clip of that appearance on You Tube, but I've never seen the Today Show appearance.
I'm glad I discovered America! :-)

This album was great... if it was the 70s or 80s the album would have rocketed to the top and had several big hit single chances like always love and look at me now and ride on and ...... A+ album... I love alibi and this as the best two gerry and dewey America albums... i go back to my babbling as the bad single choices... but with hideaway it could have been don't let it get you down and jet boy blue and maybe opened the door to other rockier singles like MANY from Alibi like Survival and any of Dewey's songs of the album...
