Here & Now CD
Posted on: 02/16/2017 07:49 PM

Looking for a copy of the Here & Now CD that was only available from BORDERS BOOKS. It contained the song Paradise. If you have a copy you would like to part with email me @ venturahighway @comcast.net
Thanks

Rainman - I can't recall but I think there were stores/versions that had Paradise, another store had Saturday Sky, another one had glass king (I really those three) and another one supposedly had a song here and now I think... I never heard that... It is a great CD Dave

As I recall, there were 5 different packaging of Here & Now, depending on where you bought it. Wal Mart, Best Buy, Target, and ITunes all had variations on what they sold. One store sold the album with "Here & Now" as the bonus track, another with "Saturday Sky", one with "Paradise", one had a DVD of a live performance, and ITunes sold "Glass King" as the bonus track.

It was a marketing ploy that was used by different retailers around that time. No doubt it boosted sales. "Here & Now" hit number 52 on the album charts, their best performance since 1982's "View From The Ground".

"Here & Now" and "Saturday Sky" were originally released on Gerry's solo CD "Horizontal Fall", but the versions included as bonus tracks were new recordings of the songs. "Paradise" was not a new recording, it was the same as what is available on "The Complete Greatest Hits" CD.

So if you are just trying to track down the recording of "Paradise", you can get it on America's "The Complete Greatest Hits" CD.

Mark
