Thank you for the link, Nicolas. I've also been re-reading his book...amazing how many new things I come upon (or had forgotten) with each reading.
Tange...There was a final autopsy performed on July 26th. In one thread on the othe side of the forum, Steven/Cre8ifsage posted a link to a TMZ article citing the cause(s) of death as an enlarged heart and severe heart disease. The *update* in the TMZ report was not dated but I am assuming it is from the final autopsy report as the results are along the lines of what was in the link Nicolas posted. I had read in a preliminary report that the thought was Fibrinous Pericarditis so it seems all indications point to his heart.
We all knew Dan had a big heart...just not in the literal sense :(

Anita..It's not a matter of it mattering. I was just wondering. When someone you like dies it's normal to wonder what from?...because you care...that's all

Range, sometimes we wonder when we shouldn't.
Earlier this week I visited the home of a man (same age as Dan) who was buried that morning. A woman kept asking the man's brother what had happened. Tha brother said."he was ill.". She asked "why weren't you aware?". I never asked, but was told later that the man had taken his own life. Too many questions can be hurtful.

The two situations are not similar in the slightest.
Tange - As you said, "When someone you like dies it's normal to wonder what from?...because you care...that's all."
You hit the nail on the head because I know YOU care. Whereas, I certainly cannot say the same about other fans inspite of what they currently post since the time of Dan's passing. Their actions in the past cannot be slickly covered over with false praises and pseudo admiration when it was never there to begin with.

Yeah. That part chaps my hyde.. Hypocritical at best.
Anita, Ouch! Telling people how they "should" feel and what they "should" say or not say is not nice. "A highly talented man? I believe Dan would have liked hearing that from you and others before he died. "Just sayin".

" ) Danny. I can see your eyes rolling skyward on that one, lol.
I'm sorry I missed you at the last IL show. Frankie always wants to leave immediately after the show. I told him next time, I'm going to stay, with or without him. I look forward to seeing you again, especially your wife. She was quite kind to me at "Sound Stage", as were you. " ) She'll get a kick out of the "fragrance" story. Everyone else has, he-he.

Dan's best music/songs were from his later CDs, "Guitar man 1 & 2". The first 4 Christian CDs were so typical, boring. Chris Christian clones. Dan recorded other "Christian music" (See "All American Boy"). The stuff with Peace was in between.
