Starting at the 56 second mark, are we witnessing the Start of the One World Religion as prophesied in the Bible in the end times?

Well, KoG, I saw yesterday's headlines on this. "Bara" is the Hebrew word that begins Genesis, "In the beginning." The Gospel of John begins with, "In the beginning was the Word..." and it goes on to define "The Word." Gerry Beckley wrote an interesting lyric in "Green." That lyric is, "Truth is where you find it. There's so much that's in-between."

Truth is indeed to be found. Peace is indeed to be found - IF you understand Truth and Peace to be a Person and not an idea, not a state of mind, not an emotion or lack thereof, not a physical activity.

I don't know the Pope's relationship with the Truth and with Peace. Hopefully, it's an "in the beginning," Alpha/Omega thing. Oh yes, we will have Peace in the end, and we will have ONE world religion. But it will be as it was "in the beginning," and have nothing to do with all that's "in-between."

Did you observe the "signs in the heavens," that occurred this weekend? Another, among many in these last few years, prophesied event.

Yes I did, S. How about you? I knew the fourth and final Blood Moon of this tetrad was scheduled to be on 9-28-15 so I was expecting it tonight. I stepped out of the house to discard some trash last night and was shocked to see that the moon was red! Glad I got to see it. It's reported that a tetrad will not fall on four of God's feast days again for around 400 to 500 years! It's reported that this is the only Blood Moon that Israel was able to view of this tetrad, and that it was a Super Blood Moon meaning it was 14 percent bigger for the people in Israel. The feast day today is Feast of Tabernacles which is also known as Sukkot. I believe it was on the Feast of Tabernacles when the Transfiguration of Jesus accorded. I long for our transfiguration.

No, KoG, I didn't. From inside my house, I can watch the moon coming up and for quite awhile afterwards. I kept checking, but didn't see anything "unusual." I checked when I went to bed. Nothing. I checked again around 4 a.m. when I took a stroll through the house. Nothing. I must confess I'm not overly thrilled with astronomy. I enjoy the sun shining. I enjoy seeing the moon at night. I enjoy seeing the stars.

Feast of Tabernacles. My calendar says it was yesterday. At any rate, a good day to reflect that we are just strangers passing through - a temporary situation.

"No eye has seen. No ear has heard. No mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him."

I'm not able to find that the transfiguration took place during the Feast of Tabernacles! And I'm out of time until after work. Can you point me in the right direction, please???

KoG, thank you for your Christmas greetings! The same to you!

I've been aware for a long time that Jesus was probably NOT born in December. I've also been aware for a long time that our Christmas traditions have been adopted from pagan practices. I've also been aware for a long time that establishing the date in December was an attempt on the part of the Catholic Church to draw pagans into Christianity.

Was Jesus born? Was He a real person? That's more important to me than when. Thus far, I haven't struggled with the timing. In fact, I think we should celebrate the birth of Jesus every single day of our lives!

As far as pagan practices, they are nothing more than corruptions of Truth. In Genesis, which came first; the Creator or the creation? And what is God? He is Spirit. So first came Spirit and then came the physical manifestation. So trees, mistletoe, all have their origin in the creation, made by the Creator. Pagans simply came along and took parts of the creation and used them, twisted them, for their own desires. It's the responsibility of Christians to restore proper meaning to the creation!

So, if I want to have a Christmas tree, bringing a symbol of "life," into my house during a dark, lifeless time of year, then I'm going to have a Christmas tree. I am not a druid. But that tree is a daily reminder that we have new life in Jesus, no matter our station in life or the dark circumstances in which we find ourselves.

At the same time, if God tells me to stop celebrating the birth of His Son in December, or to stop bringing in a Christmas tree, then I have the responsibility to obey. People who feel they cannot practice those traditions are free to follow their consciences.

Is it wrong to draw people into Christianity? No. I'm not sure that Bible smuggling during the days of communism was any better or a more righteous method for "drawing people" into Christianity than turning a pagan festival into a Christian one. I've smuggled Bibles and other Christian literature. I felt it was what I should do, and given the right opportunity, I'd do it again! We as Christians have the responsibility to take what is corrupt and restore it to its original significance. One day we will ALL know what God thinks of our attempts.

S - The following is concerning the Feast of Tabernacles and the Transfiguration of Jesus:

"And Jesus must explain what kind of Messiah he is: the suffering servant, who must undergo the passion, then die, and then rise on the third day. But Peter does not want to hear this: “God forbid, Lord! No such thing shall ever happen to you.” (Mt 16:22). Six days later, is this episode—and it is likely that it is the Feast of Tabernacles, which is celebrated for an entire week—“Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves” (Mt 17:1)."

It appears in the following: ARTICLE.

Good Morning Grahame! If you look at the top, this is the "Dan Peek Fan Blog." I like to think Dan "participates" in these posts. (See Hebrews 12:1a) If he could JUST master the fine art of communicating with us poor earthlings! Oh, the tales he could tell!!!
