OT: Message #5 ... The Second of the Four Blood Moons ... October 8 (Tomorrow)
Posted on: 10/07/2014 10:59 PM

The following is from World Net Daily:

"In Genesis God declared the sun and the moon would be used for signs of coming dramatic events when the Creator of the universe would intersect with human history. The 'blood moons tetrad,' a series of four blood moons began on the night of April 15, 2014, and the next one will be on the night of October 8, 2014.

'Look at what has been happening since the first blood moon on Passover,' said Pastor Mark Biltz, founder of El Shaddai Ministries and author of Blood Moons, addressing current events. We have the first diagnosed case of the Ebola virus spreading exponentially, he explained. He added that the first diagnosed case of Ebola in the United States has even been reported as occurring on the Feast of Trumpets just two weeks before the next blood moon on October 8, 2014. We have the advance of ISIS with beheadings even in the United States. Earthquakes are at an all-time high. The Creator is speaking from the heavens; are we listening?'

Throughout history God, the Master Timekeeper, has used the heavenly bodies to communicate to us when significant events would happen. If you want to understand the timing of the Lord, you have to understand the seasons of the Lord, the feasts of the Lord and the calendar of the Lord.

* What are the feasts days?
* What is the difference between the biblical calendar and the one we use today?
* Why should you be concerned about eclipses in the sky?

Mark Biltz focuses on the precise times of solar and lunar eclipses, called 'blood moons' because the moon often takes on a bloody color. He logged onto NASA's eclipse website which provides precision tracking of the celestial events. Biltz noted a rare phenomenon of four consecutive total lunar eclipses, known as a tetrad. He says that during this century, tetrads occur at least six times, but what's interesting is that the only string of four consecutive blood moons that coincides with God's holy days of Passover in the spring and the autumn's Feast of Tabernacles (also called Sukkot) occurs between 2014 and 2015 on today's Gregorian calendar.

Pastor Mark Biltz:

'I always thought God created the sun and the moon for light or heat. But when I read Genesis 1:14, it says He created the sun and the moon for signs,' said Biltz.

'I found out about the feasts of the Lord. And I realized they weren't the Jewish feasts, they were the Lord's feasts!' Biltz said during his interview with Roth. 'God doesn't want us to miss the appointments. He always warns us before He brings judgment. In Daniel, it says one of the things the Antichrist tries to do is change the times and seasons. That's referring to the feast days. That's referring to God's appointed times when He's going to intersect human history.'

Biltz used NASA's Eclipse website to correlate the celestial events with God's holy days mentioned in the Bible, discovering the four blood-moon eclipses in 2014 and 2015 actually coincide with the Feasts of Passover and Tabernacles.

'According to NASA, over 5,000 years you only average one total lunar eclipse every year and a half, and here we have four within a year and a half, and they're falling on feast days,' Biltz explained. The last time it happened was when Israel recaptured Jerusalem in 1967 and 1968.

'This is supernatural!' Biltz declared as he recounted his search back through history for blood moons occurring on biblical feast days. 'I look at the next date, and it was right after Israel became a nation in 1948.'

The Earth is seeing what's called a 'blood moon tetrad,' an astronomical series of four, consecutive, total lunar eclipses. It has occurred previously, according to NASA, but there's something very different about this series: The eclipses occur on the biblical holidays of Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot.

As Passover 2014 neared, millions of people around the world watched with anticipation for the moon to turn blood red with the first eclipse. But if you want to understand the timing of the Lord, Biltz explains, you have to understand the seasons of the Lord, the feasts of the Lord and the calendar of the Lord.

Biltz, the founder of El Shaddai Ministries, is a well-known commentator on the feasts of the Lord who has spoken in Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Canada and throughout the United States.

Biltz told Sid Roth: 'At the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D., solar lunar eclipses all over the biblical holidays. And then during the time of Messiah's death, 33 A.D. solar eclipses all over the biblical holidays. God is true!'

Going deeper into the biblical calendar, Biltz told Roth: 'There are some divine appointments that are scheduled, like Passover, like the Feast of Tabernacles. Each one of these feasts in Hebrew is called a 'mikra.' We translate that as 'convocation,' but the Hebrew word implies a dress rehearsal. So every time on Passover the Jews went to the dress rehearsal of killing the Passover Lamb [Jesus] on Passover, because that is when the event was going to happen.'

'[Jesus] died on Passover, He was buried on Unleavened Bread, He rose on the Feast of First Fruits and the Spirit was poured out on the Feast of Pentecost, or Shavu'ot,' Biltz said.

He continued, 'It was at the third hour of the day they bound the Lord to the cross. That's nine in the morning, the time of the morning sacrifice. So at the very moment the high priest is binding the Passover lamb to the altar, they're binding the Lamb of God to the cross, and they're singing Psalms 113-118. Did you know that God had David write the funeral song for his Son 1,000 years before?'

'At the very moment they're binding Yeshua to the cross, Josephus records two and a half million Jews are in Jerusalem, and there's this choir that is singing, and the words they're singing are, 'Bind the sacrifice with cords, even to the horns of the altar.' This is what He's hearing as they're binding Him to the Cross," Biltz said. 'And then at noon when He's lifted up, and He said, 'If I be lifted up I'll draw all men unto me,' guess what they're singing? Psalm 118, and what are the words? 'The right hand of the Lord is lifted up, the right hand of the Lord is exalted.' So not only did he fulfill the feast to the day, but to the very single hour.'

Biltz continued, 'Next year on September 28, we not only have a full moon, we have a super moon that's at its closest point to earth not just for the month, but for the entire year. It's a super blood moon that is going to be seen in Jerusalem, on the Feast of Tabernacles, and in a Shemitah (Jubilee) year.'

'All these signs, coming together at one time, are potentially the culminating signals that God is closing this chapter of human history,' Biltz said. 'This could be the final curtain call before the Great Tribulation mentioned in the Bible. God has always wanted to warn His people, and the rest of the world, before He intervenes. What better way to communicate to us than through the universal language of heavenly signs that speak to every tribe, tongue and nation?'"

Am going to see America Friday night in Oregon. Am getting excited. Am getting ready. Am getting tired! Gotta go to bed. Tomorrow's another day!!!

Hi S - I hope you have a great time at the America concert! Friday night, Michael Martin Murphey will be performing locally with the Southwest Symphony. I think I'll be in attendance. Nutty Larry the Cable Guy will be in town on Saturday for a show. I have a ticket that will be honored from his earlier canceled performance due to an injury while he was filming a movie in Canada. Then on Sunday, Murphey performs again but for free for 2 hours at what is called the Western Heritage Museum. I think I'll see him again. Not sure if he'll be performing with his band or just by himself. I hope the former. Again, have fun at the America concert.

Regarding which horse, I found the following on the net but not sure about its accuracy whichsoever:

"As infectious disease: Under this interpretation, the first horseman is called Pestilence, and is associated with infectious disease and plague. It appears at least as early as 1916, when it is mentioned in the Jewish Encyclopedia.[ The interpretation is common in popular culture references to the Four Horsemen.

The origin of the interpretation is unclear. Some translations of the Bible mention "plague" (e.g. the NIV) or "pestilence" (e.g. the RSV) in connection with the riders in the passage following the introduction of the fourth rider; cf. "They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine, plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth." (Revelation 6:7-8˄ NASB). However, it is a matter of debate as to whether this passage refers to the fourth rider, or to the four riders as a whole.

Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, in his 1916 novel The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (filmed in 1921 and in 1962), provides an early example of this interpretation, writing "The horseman on the white horse was clad in a showy and barbarous attire. [...] While his horse continued galloping, he was bending his bow in order to spread pestilence abroad. At his back swung the brass quiver filled with poisoned arrows, containing the germs of all diseases."

Ooooooooh Yah! Michael Martin Murphy. I'd go to Sunday's performance - if I wasn't going to be somewhere else! My favorite song of his (I have limited listening experience) is "Geronimo's Cadillac." I like how he works the melody throughout the song. I like the message. "If you can't/won't give 'em what they need, then buy 'em off." We did it with Native Americans. We do it with kids all the time. I have a version of the song, live, with his son playing sax and singing background vocals. That "kid" plays a MEAN sax!!!

Give a report back, eh?

S - Thinking more about the plagues during the end times, I think it's probably during the tribulation that the horsemen appear as well as the pouring out of the bowls of wrath. Whichever the case, it will be the most horrific time in all of earth's history according to Scripture. But, as believers, we won't be here as you know, thanks be to God!

I found the following from my previous posting from this morning quite interesting. I'm speaking of the day the man died in Dallas with Ebola. At the time of my posting this morning, I didn't know the man had succumb to his illness. Here is a quote from my prior message:

"We have the first diagnosed case of the Ebola virus spreading exponentially, he [Mark Biltz] explained. He added that the first diagnosed case of Ebola in the United States has even been reported as occurring on the Feast of Trumpets...."

Interesting that the Ebola victim in Dallas died today which is on another one of God's feast days - the Feast of Tabernacles! Coincidence? Hmmm.

Concerning Michael Martin Murphey, yeah, I too really like his singing of "Geronimo's Cadillac." He always performs it live. I have actually seen him in concert more than I have seen America. He is a very humble and gracious man. I have met him a couple of times. One of the times was when he autographed my old mandolin. As he was doing so, he called over his son Ryan to check it out. Ryan is a mandolin player who was performing with his dad that night.

Back in '82, I wrote MMM a letter. He lives around the Taos, New Mexico area which is in northern NM. I don't remember exactly how I came to know his address, but I sent him a letter and he wrote back on May 5, 1982 to say:

"Dear Johnny,

Thank you for your warm letter. I am glad that my music interests you so. I am truly flattered that you think my album 'Michael Martin Murphey' is so lovely. Thank you again for your appreciation.

Sincerely,
Michael Murphey"

Interesting that he signed it without the "Martin" portion of his name, but that is how his letterhead/logo was also.

Here is one of my favorites of his played live - "Carolina In The Pines".

It would be really cool if I could learn how to spell MMM's last name, wouldn't it? Very interesting (not to mention sad) the timing of that man's death from ebola. No accident.

I like Michael Martin Murphey's (there I did it right) countenance. He has a light in his eyes that you'd have to be blind to not notice! It's Ryan, isn't it, who plays the killer sax - as well as other instruments? I saw a video of him playing with his dad at a very young age, and he stopped playing, walked over to his dad, whispered in his ear, "You did it wrong, Dad." Hysterical!

Yesterday I happened to listen to several of his songs. Does Bill Miller still play in his band? A number of years ago, he was the worship leader on a Hosanna! Integrity album, with a Native American sound to it. I should like MMM in concert with his supporting band, the best, I think, although he's got a great voice and plays very well. Enjoy!!!

S - I don't know who plays in MMM's band quite frankly.

There is a problem concerning the concert date of MMM. The Wednesday newspaper stated:

"The Southwest Symphony featuring MICHAEL MARTIN MURPHEY is scheduled to perform at 7 p.m. Friday At Tydings Auditorium. Tickets are $20 for adults and free to anyone 18 years and younger or college students with college ID."

I purchased my ticket at one of the two places in town selling tickets. I did this during my lunch break on Wednesday based on the announcement's information. Later that day, I asked a co-worker if she had heard about MMM's scheduled concert and if she planned to attend. She said no as she has to work on Saturday. I told her that the concert is to be held on Friday so she would be able to attend. She said it's on Saturday as she left the workplace. I went to retrieve my ticket from my notebook setting on one of the counters in the department where I had placed it after I had returned to work. I would solve the date "dispute" quite easily by checking the ticket. The date on the ticket: "Saturday, October 11." WHAT???

I have a ticket to see Larry the Cable Guy on Saturday, October 11! So, how did I get the date of MMM's concert wrong? I checked Wednesday's newspaper announcement again. Clear as day: "...scheduled at 7 p.m. Friday...."

I can't attend both being that the two will be occurring at the same time. What to do, what to do?

Until I decide, I leave you with THIS PERFORMANCE.

I'm HOME, KoG! So what'd ja do, what'd ja do, what'd ja do, do, do???

That young lady has a LOT of potential, vocally-speaking. She already shows signs, unfortunately, of becoming a spoiled little child superstar, and I hate to see that.

The song tackles a terrible epidemic that nobody labels "epidemic." God hates divorce, and I think one of the reasons is that it disinherits the children. Since my father's first wife divorced him (for another man) I have first-hand experience. He brought his woundedness into his relationship with my mother. My older siblings never really recovered. When he died, I got it all. However, he told them AND me what he wanted each one of them to get and I ended up giving them even more. But what they got was filtered through me first.

Secondly, we think that because the warm fuzzies are gone, that love must be gone. Love is a commitment, not a feeling. The commitment has to carry people through, when the feelings have waned or are gone altogether.

Thirdly, relationships - ANY - take work, and when things aren't going well, they take more work. God probably had a smart idea in keeping me single, because I'm a lazy thing when it comes to relationships! After so many years, I've got my own little world and I usually take great delight in it! I've gotten bored twice this year. There's always something to do, and I keep busy during my free time.

Fourthly, the people of God have done a pathetic job with counseling. We're great at dispensing psychology, but that doesn't cut it. The evidence is in the divorce rate amongst Christians. Hurting people need to hear from their Creator and that takes a lot of time on the part of the pastor, on his face before God on behalf of those he counsels. Precious few pastors understand that or are willing to put in the time. Best teaching I ever received on relationships - any relationship - was by a Kiwi named Tom Marshall. He was in YWAM and had pioneered Teen Challenge (David Wilkerson's program) in New Zealand. His book, "Right Relationships: How to Create them and How to Restore them," was our "textbook" when I took a biblical counseling school through YWAM.

He taught that in ANY relationship, there are 4 ingredients: love, trust, honor and understanding. Love endures, no matter what. Trust is very fragile and hard to regain. Our modern society is bereft of honor or respect. And we have a deep need to be understood by others.

The biggest negative of this past weekend was the total lack of relationship extended to me by the people who attended this benefit event. One dude walked by me like I wasn't there. Three inches closer and he would've mowed me down! Nobody, but nobody opened up to me, until this morning. I wanted to backhand the man sitting next to me during the concert Friday night. He literally sat there with his arms folded defiantly across his chest, as if to say, "I'm a married man, Lady, so keep your distance." Well I wasn't interested in flirting with the turkey, for pity's sake! I'd pick somebody I thought was better-looking than him, believe me! I left him and visited with a couple from Redding that I met in the parking lot. I spotted their California license plate, and they happened to be the couple I wanted to meet anyway! When I returned, he changed his physical stance and we actually had a little conversation! This morning at breakfast I got a man to open up to me. He was a retired construction worker and my father was a bulldozer operator. I understood the lingo. A younger man joined us. (I must say they both cussed a blue streak) but the older guy told the funniest stories about people putting their boats on their boat trailers!

Just a simple little conversation like that meant a lot to me and mellowed my opinion of the whole affair (America's outrageously good concert excepted)! Married people are generally pathetic at knowing how to reach out to single people, and I happen to get along quite well with most men. But I'll tell you, that couple from Redding didn't have any problems with me. We hit it off and hopefully we will be hearing from her at least on this website.

S - Was the event you were describing in Canyonville? I'm assuming so. Sorry to hear about the strange fellow you sat next to. I just hate it when I sit next to a jerky person.

I was able to get a refund for the MMM concert so I attended Larry the Cable Guy (whose show was 4 times more expensive than MMM's). He was excellent and was in his full "nutjob" form.

I was able to attend the latter part of MMM's meet-and-greet yesterday where he perfomed 6 songs at the end. I was only able to hear the last 3 but was able to chat with him a bit after his singing. A little more later as I need to get ready for work. Until then....

Good Morning KoG! Likewise. Work. Gotta earn the money I just spent this weekend. I'll be up in Weed, cleaning for my friend Patty. Will see part of the burn area. She has to escort me in. Security's tight. If you feel comfortable giving me your email, I'll send you the unabridged version of Friday night??? Otherwise, you'll just have to put up with the "public" version!!!

Later.

Good morning, S! I would rather not put my personal email address on a public forum. I hope you understand. You, however, could post yours and I could write you. If you don't want to either, I totally understand.

Have you heard the news about the Dallas nurse who helped treat the Ebola victim who recently died? She has contracted the virus. That is scary!!!

Good Morning KoG! Isn't it unfortunate that there are immature "children" running around in adult bodies? I won't post my personal email address here either. There are a few individuals I do not trust, based on their obnoxious posts AND I know of one other person besides myself who has also received phone calls and quick hang-ups! I have enough brains to check the AREA CODES, people!

But, never fear, I've been working on another angle! TeeHee. Have asked a mutual friend to give you my email address. However, circumstances have prevented that person from viewing that email OR sending it to you. I'll just have to be patient and wait.

Naw, I don't do the news. It's more, "Look at my pretty/handsome newscaster's face, everybody," than it is about the news. Considering that only 7% of the news media are Christians, there is an obvious bias there AND if you want to wallow in all the awful things going on... I prefer "growing God bigger" and reminding myself of how He's intervened in MY life and of what His Word says about things. And I'm a natural-born pessimist. But it's important for me to keep balance by searching for the good.

Good Eefenning, KoG! If I know about some major event, then I will do the news. Otherwise, I do the "Good News." But, you piqued my curiosity; what do you watch?

I'm sure glad it's 6:06 p.m. Thursday. My feet hurt and I'm tired. Time to kick back for the evening. Tomorrow I move my tomato plants into the garage. Hope they make it tonight. Some are showing signs of frostbite. Anyhow, this means dismantling my "greenhouse," which is a pain in the neck. I've got more to do tomorrow, but I can't remember what it is! Oh well.

Hi KoG. It's interesting how they differ. I like the perspective Foxx has. But if something big is going on, I find that CNN oftentimes has the most up-to-the-minute info. CBS has downloading issues sometimes, so does ABC, I think. When there is something big going on, I try to catch them all. Then I feel like I have an idea of it, and I get a better idea of what info is outdated or trumped up.
