mdh - I remember Badfinger very well when they first came out and some people thinking they might really be the Beatles. I can understand that. Personally, I can hear sounds of the Beatles in their music. I don't own a single item by Badfinger, however. Regarding the Beatles and as odd as it may seem, I like their earlier music a lot but not so much their latter. As you may remember, the Beatles had two releases on LPs of their greatest hits. Each was a 2-album set. One of the album covers was trimmed in red which was their earlier works and the other trimmed in blue which was their latter. That's pretty much is the dividing line for me regarding the music that I enjoy most by the Beatles. I'm saying all of this to explain why I don't own anything by Badfinger. They remind me of the Beatles music in their latter years. With all of that said, I do enjoy hearing Badfinger's hit songs on the radio, but again, not enough to have ever purchased anything by them. Coincidently, I came across a band just the other day whose music and band name I had never heard before. Below are three links pertaining to them and their music. The first two are two of their songs. Personally, I wouldn't purchase their music and for the same reason I stated above. But, I really do like their two songs as posted below: KLAATU "A Routine Day" "Dear Christine" The Band Everyone Thought Was The Beatles
