The Dan Fogelberg (and Tim Weisberg) song, "Power Of Gold," is from the album TWIN SONS OF DIFFERENT MOTHERS. In the case that I'm talking about, the twin sons are from two different fathers. Yes, different fathers! The father, who spoke with me regarding my asking him if his sons are twins, said the two four-year-olds are, but he is the biological father of only one of them. The other twin was fathered by a different man. I'm not sure if the mother of the twins is the man's wife or his girlfriend. Nonetheless, he said he loves his biological son just as much as the non-biological one. He further said at the time his wife/girlfriend conceived, they were having relationship difficulties and that she was intimate with another man within 24 hours of being intimate with him. Therefore, they weren't sure who the father of the twins was so they had the twins DNA-tested. I'm sure everyone involved was shocked with the results. So, that's the answer to the riddle...a set of twin boys with two different fathers! Below is a link to an article about when such a pregnancy occurs. It is extremely rare according to the article. Twins with Different Fathers: This Paternity Issue is Real
