I went to the London show knowing that there would be no new material, that it would be a Greatest Hits type show, and that Horse With No Name would be the encore, as it has been since 1974. Consequently I was not disappointed, and I thoroughly enjoyed the show and the band's enthusiasm for performing the same material for the umpteenth time. However, ideally I would have liked to have heard some new songs, or at least a few different oldies, or perhaps a solo spot from Gerry. This would also make the (hopefully) DVD of the show a little different to the Sydney Opera House DVD.
