The Horse With No Name CD from 1995 was the first official release on CD of a live performance by the original trio. I remember wondering whether to get the Musikladen DVD when it came out a few years later, but I’m glad I got both. Nobody uses video CDs like the one sold with the Horse With No Name CD, and few ever did. If I recall correctly, the Horse With No Name CD came out right about the time the Musikladen concert was rediscovered and aired on VH1. I think that “Rainbow Song” is the highlight of the album, with its moody, keyboard-dominated jam. Hope you can get yours hands on copies of the CD!
