Revisiting Dan's solo albums

As a Dan Peek fan I consider it lucky that he released so much material over his solo career. "All Things Are Possible" remains my favorite but I certainly can relate to other person's selections on the subject. Tom Peek recently told me that he considered "Bodden Town" his top pick. I recall Dan saying somewhere (maybe in his book) that he just wanted to have complete control over both production and distribution of his music.
Tonight on Australian "60 Minutes" the final story was an interview with Barry Gibb and family members about the release of his new solo
"In The Now"
and subsequent world tour which kick starts Down Under next April.
For Dan, Barry Gibb, Paul McCartney etc, their love of making music is quintessential, perhaps the core to their existence and we should embrace that and take it for all it's worth.
I truly don't give a bugger about how their vocals stand up to "father-time". That these amazing musicians, many in the twilight of their careers, still take the time to release new material for their fans and public is very rewarding and appreciated.
