Morning KoG! Patty called me last night. She thought I had called her earlier, and left a message, but I hadn't. Phones still aren't working. They ring, but that's all. Anyhow, she's doing better. Is now able to get to the point and to string words and sentences together to express a cohesive thought. She again mentioned, "We're gonna rebuild and it's gonna be better than before," and all I could think was, "You don't know what he said, spiritually speaking!" All I can think is II Chronicles 7:14 and how I can live that out. Recently I said that it's important to discern the difference between what God does and what the enemy does. Each requires a specific response. It's up to the people of God to respond II Chronicles 7:14 because the world is going to head in the Isaiah 9:10 direction every time. After spending sufficient time in the II Chronicles 7:14 mode, THEN we can rise up with God-revealed strategies and fight with great success! Take Jehoshaphat in II Chronicles 20:1-26, for example?
