O.K. Bluey. I think I'm straightened out now. Thanks. An interesting switch from journalism to police work. It would do the younger generation a lot of good to get their education AND then start at the bottom of their chosen profession, working their way up. I talk to so many people who think they "deserve," and the list of what they deserve goes on and on, based on their education or whatever. Dan said something very wise in his book about being grateful for the bottom level of jobs he'd had in his youth, because it gave him an appreciation for the people who are doing those jobs currently. I like that attitude! Are you retired, or still working? One of the law enforcement officers I know is retired from the Highway Patrol and military reserves. He doesn't take his salary from his current law enforcement position, because his retirement is sufficient for his needs. He's a good person and I have a lot of respect for his diligence on the job. I still haven't listened to all your musical offerings here. (Oh man, that frown is killing me) teehee. I'll get 'round to it. Be patient, please.
