ATAP got good reviews when it was released down here and freely available at all music outlets. Maybe a flow on after "Down To The Water" (off America's 1977 "Harbor") got good airplay. As you can see on the Aussie cover, there is extra wording, obviously to identify Dan as a founding member of America. Then and now, Aussies have always been solid America fans.

Unfortunately ATAP seems to be the only Dan release here. I was only made aware of his following works when I purchased a computer and joined up on SteveL's site.

I assume overseas ATAP releases had a double-sided inner sleeve containing lyrics and production notes. There is a photo of Catherine, Dan and (sister) Debbie at the top.
At the time I wondered who Debbie was as Dan's acknowledgements merely said:
"to Debbie for making it all run smoothly". Rich took and posted a wonderful photo of Debbie with D&G backstage after she attended their May 2012 Paducah concert. (See "Paducah Backstage Treat")

Johnny, interesting comments about those tapes. I certainly sensed tension between
Dan and Chris when I watched the "Doer Of The Word" video. Everything appears alright between Dan and Gerry. I wonder if this was around Gerry's "You Can Do Magic" era?

Bluey.
