Talk about a blow to the stomach upon recieving this news today. I had been in regular contact with Dan dating back to last years Goldmine interview, the most recent of the interviews he had granted me over the years. I found him to be a very kind-hearted man, always gracious about me keeping the name "America" and "Dan Peek" in the news as best I could--either by my roles as a writer or broadcaster. My heartfelt condolences to his family. He was a friend of mine, but as a fan, I know I speak for all of us here who now share this tremendous loss. SteveO
