Ahh, the smooth sounds of the (Young) Rascals led by the vocals of Felix Cavaliere! It's such a shame that Cavaliere was never able to launch a successful solo career. He attempted to from what I've read in the past. Just doesn't make sense that he wasn't able. So very odd. I don't any CDs of the Rascals, but that is something that needs to change! Thanks mdh for that blast from the past as they say. My next featured artist is another person from my home town. I knew he was a member of a famous singing group, but I wasn't exactly sure which one until I asked around. As it turned out, I was shocked to learn who his parents were as I knew them from our attending local garage sales. I didn't know their last name but only that we (his mom, his dad and I) were garage sale attendees just about every weekend for several years. And then one day, his mom came into my workplace (a hospital) along with her youngest son. When I saw their last name, I asked if they knew singer Wayburn Dean. The young man said, "Yeah, that's my brother. He'll be in town this weekend." He's with the following gospel group singing lead in the first video. He has since become a solo artist. ACAPPELLA "Rescue" WAYBURN DEAN "I Want To Know You More"
